Why I put my name
on the door.

I could have named my company anything. I chose my own name. What that promise means, and how it guides every decision.

When I started Alajnaf Inc., I could have picked a name that sounded impressive and meant nothing. I chose Alajnaf, my own name. It wasn't about ego. It was about accountability.

A name is a promise

When your name is on the door, there's nowhere to hide. Every deal, every partner and every decision carries it. That makes you careful in the right way. I don't put my name on anything I wouldn't stand behind, and I want everyone we work with to know that.

Reputation compounds like capital

Money compounds over time. So does trust. A reputation is built one kept promise at a time, and it can be lost with a single broken one. I think about both the same way: protect the downside, be patient, and let good decisions add up.

Built to outlast me

I'm not chasing quick wins. I want to build something that lasts for decades: strong businesses, strong people, and a name that means something wherever it goes. That changes how you make decisions. You stop asking what looks good this quarter and start asking what you'll be proud of in twenty years.

What it means for partners

For the founders and operators we back, my name on the door means a partner who shows up, tells the truth and stays through the hard parts. If I wouldn't stand behind a business, I won't invest in it. If I do invest, I'm in.

That's the whole idea. Simple to say, hard to live up to. That's exactly why I chose it.
